Ana Luísa holds a Master’s degree in Biological Engineering from the Instituto Superior Técnico of the University of Lisbon. Her thesis concerned the production and analysis of biodiesel using infrared spectrometry.
Currently, she’s pursuing her PhD in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Canterbury, New Zealand. Her research focuses on expansion of cropland area during a sun-obscuring catastrophe by converting other types of land into land that can be used for crops and the production of leaf protein concentrate during a catastrophe.
In her free time, she enjoys watching movies, reading, crocheting, and doing stand-up comedy.
