Director of Operations, Director of the Board
Sonia is ALLFED's Director of Operations and a member of its Board of Directors, bringing strong international operational and project management skills, along with a solid understanding of business continuity, finance, HR, public relations (PR), crisis management, and communications. She joined ALLFED after a varied career spanning management, academia, and social enterprise, and has been the organization's linchpin since its founding in 2017.
Over nearly a decade, Sonia has progressed through a variety of senior leadership roles at ALLFED. From 2020 to 2023, she held a dual executive role as Director of Operations and Director of Communications. Over the years, she took on many CEO responsibilities, and was appointed to the ALLFED Institute Board in 2021.
With a particular interest in SME (Small and Medium Enterprises) Business Continuity, Sonia has helped to pioneer SME BCM in the UK both through her contributions to Continuity (the magazine of the Business Continuity Institute) and her own ventures and practice. She is a key member of ALLFED's Response Team and one of the Future of Life Institute's "Women for the Future".
