Tim Fist

Research Associate

Tim is a software engineer, spatial analyst, and general problem solver focussed on working on problems with big long term impacts. He received his B.S. (Hons) from Monash University, Australia, completing a double degree in Aerospace Engineering and Philosophy. He has since worked as a control systems engineer on small satellite systems, an operations research consultant, and currently as a software engineer for an Agtech company.

Tim has been the recipient of several accolades: the Space Generation Innovators Award for 2017, the NASA Space Apps Hackathon “Build a space business” award, and the Data Processing VSSEC/NASA Space Prize in 2015.
